North Albina Triangle
DEA was commissioned to create a greenstreet facility to manage stormwater while providing an open space benefit to the local neighborhood. The design includes a traffic calming curb extension combined with a vegetated stormwater swale and infiltration facility. Overall the project will treat and infiltrate to the extent practicable water from more than 6,000 sq.ft. of impervious area which had previously been conveyed directly to the city’s combined sewer system.
