Thunderbird Paseo Park Irrigation Study

Thunderbird Paseo Park is a linear park along the Arizona Canal Diversion Channel, encompassing approximately 55 acres.

DEA performed an irrigation study for the city of Glendale, creating a hydraulic model of the park's irrigation and delivery system. The model was then used to size the park's delivery system and determine new water sources for park irrigation.

DEA provided the client with life cycle cost estimates that included capital investment, operations and maintenance costs, and water acquisition fees. The next phase of the project will be to design a water delivery infrastructure.
